Poem Sentences Of Gold

Saint Lucia

Man, time has flown, we are already in a blow to the 9th December and we will probably be a blow to 2011 without a shot being fired.
Meanwhile the holiday season were felt for several months, in fact, were proudly displayed on the shelves of supermarkets and panettone pandori since late October. Just to remind us of the arrival of Christmas. As if one could forget.
The lights are on in the city a few weeks ago, the windows and shops are all well decorated. No exceptions.
Monday, December 13 in Savona will be Saint Lucia.
The city is filled with stalls, were once the majority of shepherds, homes for the crib, moss, Christmas tree, games, sweets, nougat and crunchy. Become less and less of these things and more and more features market stalls of clothing, bags and whatever like a normal Monday. (Editor's note: The weekly market is held every Monday in Savona)
December 13 was the day after the school children and young people swarmed us to the center, alone by older, accompanied by small, to buy nougat and sweet with a truncheon (nightstick course of hollow plastic and light) will battle for the city streets with friends. The adults were buying the decorations and the shepherds are missing, then it was all together at home the crib and the tree.
Yet there I am talking about a century ago .. Fortunately I am still young ..
But now this day is no longer a moment that marks the beginning of the Christmas period, that sadly has lost its meaning even if you still go there to buy nougat and what is lacking for the crib and the tree.
You start to feel the Christmas long before December 13 but unfortunately we often hear only the pace of the holidays, in a perspective of 'concern' for Christmas gifts and spend the holidays.
